I'm back, and stuff.
Jul. 20th, 2003 06:52 pmWell, I return. Overnight trips to Sydney are always a shock to the system in their brevity.
Point form, because I'm lazy and tired:
-relatives all went "oh my GOD siobhan is BLONDE!" then decided they liked it
-got mauled/abducted by my cousins who love me too much. this just proves that absence really DOES make the heart grow fonder.
-I drove everywhere with Rohan in his car. music, n' stuff. lots of intelligent nerd-based conversation. *pause* GOD I miss my brother. see absence note above.
-Rohan and I got lost because we missed the whopping great big blue sign saying HOSPITAL THIS WAY and drove an extra 5 km to Hornsby. then I navigated, and crappily, because we got lost AGAIN. eheh. after that, rohan drove past the hospital, which made ME go 'hey!' so really in summation we both suck.
-grandpa not well, but he's better since going into the hospital. did not cry. it was good to see him.
-went back to house of siblings. played ps2, then tried on ceilidh's old clothes. have a new wardrobe, practically- whole garbage bag full which I can't life due to weight.
-I had a double bed, a bedroom, and a bathroom (including bath) to myself. YEAH, baby!
-went out to brunch
-went to hospital
-went home
somewhere in there got paid out for being a nerd. SO-RRY! the entire female half of my family is disappointed that I would rather be shopping with rohan than shopping for clothes. bah. but mum says she doesn't mind me being a geek, really. they were joking. (but they'd still prefer me to be a shop-aholic; I've known that for ages. as ceilidh said last night, "I've waited years for a sister who's old enough to shop with, and she doesn't like shopping!")
cars are impossible to sleep in and are incredibly uncomfortable. car sleep does not constitute real sleep, but I tried it both ways anyway. ow ow ow ow ow.
really do miss brother. suspect brother misses me too, as HE was the one who suggested I go in his car and he let me hug him several times even though he's generally not a very tactile person.
hm.
ah well, email checking time.
