Working after school in the IT center, I didn't realise how late it was until 5:40, when obviously I went "Oh FUCK! Mum'll be home!" and bolted out. I soon realised my bag was locked in the library, which led to a myriad of nasty consequences, most unpleasant of which was this:
My buscard was in my bag.
Therefore, carrying a heavy load of books, I had to walk home. But first I had to find my way out of the school, which was surprisingly difficult due to all the construction and locked buildings.
Anyway; walking home. It was cold, it was dark, it was late. I went over on my ankle twice, my wrist is stiff and sore, and I am super paranoid, so I was jumping at shadows and expecting murders/rapists/abductors and/or muggers around every corner. I constantly had to remind myself that I know Tae Kwon Doe, that I am GOOD at Tae Kwon Doe, and that I can kick arse if need be. I have to say I wasn't very persuasive. At one point, there was a guy walking behind me and I freaked and sped up. See? PARANOID.
I also kept expecting each car driving past to be my mother. The REALLY depressing thing is that she did drive past, and didn't see me. *sigh*
So now I am home, and my parents are totally relieved, and I need to call all my friends to assure them that I'm not dead or whatever. Oh, and I can't do my homework, as it is locked in the library.
There we go- my little adventure into the extremely not fun.
