Or at all, really. So, let's see... yesterday...
1st Period: Did Jap oral. Went- well, NO idea, actually. I stuttered in one bit, but overall I THINK it went ok. Don't quote me on that. Got test back, was over the average for the first time all year. We only have a class of 8, so that's pretty good. How I long for the days when I got straight A's in jap... *sigh*
2nd Period: IT. Can't remember much, just worked on assignment. Was understandably dull.
3rd Period: ... um... was it a free? Yeah. I think it was. What did I do in it? Good question. Nothing productive... Oh yeah, I talked to people and shredded up a sheet of paper into tiny little pieces. ^^;
4th Period: History. Was, you know, history-ish.
Lunchtime: Spent it sleeping. Satisfying, that.
5th and 6th Periods: Double english; in-class essay on Hamlet. Woe was me. Arm died. Had strange feeling that it was the biggest crock of shit I had ever written EVER, but I usually think that, and I usually (thankfully) turn out wrong. Though sometimes I'm right. Mum said it didn't sound to bad to her, though, so I shall pray. It was on "people are neither completely good nor completely evil", stuff about Hamlet, etc.
I almost wrote that Hamlet thought Claudius was the epitomy of crap.
...
Anyway.
After school, I had dance. Was cool, we started our new latin-american dance to- wait for it- SMOOTH! By Santana! Ooh, I LOVE that song. It's a really cool dance, too. Partner work. Apparently it doen't matter that Mari is 20 cm shorter than me. For the record, it's quite a dodgy looking dance, so here are some interesting occurances:
Ms Edwards: *about people holding each other* More aggressive! Possessive!
Later: Oh, good. It looks very suggestive!
Later, about one girl's fingers on another girl's stomach: SPREAD IT!
At that moment, Phoebe came in and looked decidedly disturbed. Then we did the dance up to where we've choreographed it and she looked even MORE concerned. *cracks up* I don't suggest doing the dance if you have any concept of personal space. It's really fun to do, though.
Came home, was supposed to do history, did some halfheartedly, spent most of my time either: reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy slash, reading Sith Academy or talking to people. Mostly eugenie and frar. ^ ^
Period 1: Was IT. Got really dispirited, disgruntled, and generally dis-words-ed when, in an attempt to justify the pile of steaming crud that is my IT assignment, I went searching for OTHER legal firm websites. I found Clayton Utz's website, the firm for whom my brother works. It was absolutely SPIFFY. I suck. Aw.
Period 2: Was English. Listened to radio program thing about Romeo and Juliette. Was very amusing and informative, part of a series... Hey, guys in my english class, did Ms Vance say something about the next one being about Oscar Wilde and some guy, or was that just me mishearing?
Period 3: Was Maths. Was overall very maths-ish, surprisingly enough.
Period 4: Was a free, during which I frantically read history notes on Luther.
Lunchtime: more frantic studying and note-taking. Joy.
Periods 5 and 6: History double, mostly spent writing an essay. I think that one really WAS a load of crap. I can't write in-class history essays to save my life. Ran out of time, frantically copied conclusion from plan, got in trouble. Hand/arm KILLING. Ow.
Then we went to the library to research our orals, and I couldn't stop laughing cause I was so tired. ^^;
And now I have to like, go to work, and stuff. Argh. *dies*
Oh yeah- forgot to mention the Adrian-thing. Wanted to do it anyway, and then
sanguia told me that it would be, and I quote, the bestest birthday present EVER. So I told her I would, and I am. I should be getting me a code by SOME vicarious means soonish. *grin*
Oh yeah. Work. *dies more*
