tammaiyaHave finally found a legitimate excuse for not going outside- natural sunlight makes me unnaturally tired! Ahahahahaha! So by 5 pm I was practically in a microsleep, which is just... sad. ^^;
Birthday party was fun, and everybody seemed to get on which is eeeeeeeeexcellent. Cake was yummy. It was good to play around in the pool again like when I was a child- we had various 'how many summersaults can you turn in one breath?' competitions. I won both forwards and backwards with 10 and 7 respectively, but not too surprising because I practically grew up in a pool. (Even if I have abandoned it in recent years so I can sit at my computer becoming pale and corpse-like.)
As you can see, my writing ability has been reduced to that of an 8 year old. Do I care? NO! Ahahahaha!

Mum & Dad- Driving lessons and a box full of Revlon makeup (and pink earrings)
Rohan- Nirvana (the best of) and the Definitive ABBA
Auntie Marie- Afterglow (Sarah McLachlan CD)
Eugenie- Howl's Moving Castle and Mixed Magics by Diana Wynne Jones. *heart* EVERYONE needs a copy of the first one!
Ellen- a black top and blue ankle socks- WITH BLACK POODLES ON THEM! *cheers*
Fahye- a bracelet and earrings with little dangling stars. Oh, and the pirate fic. ^^
Victoria- a beautiful book with blank pages, and dangly earrings with amber-coloured beads
Jen- a beatiful intricate gold necklace with red roses and jewelled leaves
Ashie- Gold earrings with violet stones
Anna- A pretty silver chain with a diamonte stone. And... um. Dice. Dodgy dice. Don't ask. ^^;
Clair- Dangly earrings in this cool glass-and-mirror box thingy.
That's all for now. Rest of large extended family are waiting until I see them around Christmas or whenever. Am obviously getting a lot of jewellery, but also am getting a lot of CDs. *is happy*
In other news, have been playing FF1. Training up is the most painful experience ever. Do you know how long it takes to get up to level 10? TOO BLOODY LONG! It's sort of fun, though. The characters have no set personality, it's just a basic quest game, but I'm still fond of it.
Also: 8 fics down, 5 to go. Am getting there, dammit.
